All eyes have been on Paris Saint-Germain for the last few days since the transfer rumor came out that the French club was planning a massive bid for Brazilian superstar Neymar. The amount of 222 million Euro is evidently massive and it is quite obvious that PSG is currently on the headlines of most of the news from the transfer market.
However, in the current scenario, it is very unlikely that Neymar will come to an agreement with PSG and leave his current employer FC Barcelona. And a clarification has been provided by the FC Barcelona President Josep Bartomeu where he has stated that Neymar is a part of the team and they count on him. Not just that, Neymar seems to be pretty happy at Barcelona despite the fact that the Brazilian was rumored to be unhappy at the club to play under the shadow of Lionel Messi. So it seems that PSG’s staggering 222 million Euro will go in vain.
And consequently, Paris Saint-Germain is shifting their focus to yet another South American – Alexis Sanchez who has been a topic of discussion in this transfer period. In fact, we have reported earlier that Sanchez might make a move from Arsenal to PSG. And it has gained momentum since PSG sports Director Antero Henrique has been spotted in London. Reportedly he is in the city to push through a 40 million Euro move for the Chilean forward from Arsenal to PSG.
Now while PSG has grabbed all the limelight, Real Madrid has been pretty silent. But that does not mean they have not made any progress. They have brought in Dani Ceballos from Real Betis. But they are yet to make a big announcement. And it seems to be a matter of time that Real Madrid will submit a bid for Kylian Mbappe. The French attacker has been one of the promising youngsters in the world at this moment. So with Alvaro Morata all set to sign for Chelsea and Karim Benzema being linked to Arsenal (though there are enough doubts over the possibility of this move going through), the Los Blancos will be eager to bring in a young forward. Kylian Mbappe fits the bill perfectly.
Along with that, Zinedine Zidane has heaped immense praise on the young striker from AS Monaco. Zidane has been quoted saying, “He’s a very good player, he’s shown that all year.” However, he has also added that “he’s not my player.” Surely he would love to have him in his team and whether that turns out to be a reality remains to be seen. Meanwhile, Real Madrid’s pursuit of David De Gea is still going on and it seems that another exciting episode of transfer saga is on the cards.
In the coming days, we can expect more updates to come up regarding these transfer rumors. And to keep an eye on that do not forget to come back here. We promise to bring up all that is happening across the world surrounding the transfer market.
